Allen Wilson Parish

Allen W. Parish, 55, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home. He was born in Toledo on October 17, 1961 to Bob and Clara (Pinkney) Parish, Sr. and had worked with Countryside Disposal as a trash collector. Allen was a talented artist who enjoyed making gifts for family and friends, and enjoyed painting and drawing. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Allen is survived by his daughters, Amy (Cassandra) Parish and April Parish (fiancé, Martin); siblings, Bob, Jr. (Dianna) Parish, Viola (Mike) Carter, Trina (Doyle) Carter, Clair (Michelle) Parish, Bart (Hope) Parish, Bret Parish (Kelly), Burt (Cindy) Parish and several nieces and nephews. His parents, Bob and Clara, preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Allen’s Life will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the United Steelworkers Local 912, 2225 Consaul St., Toledo, OH 43605. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family c/o Amy Parish.
