Antonio A. Schiavone Sr

Antonio A. Schiavone, Sr. 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016.  He was born on August 7, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to Albert and Angela Schiavone.  Tony was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.  He married his wife, Judith on September 27, 1958 and together they started their family.  Tony was the head chef at the Hillcrest before going into the Food & Beverage Industry, eventually becoming a Bar Owner.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time camping with his family.  He will be dearly missed.

            Tony is survived by his loving wife, Judith; children:  Antonio Jr. (Jenny) Schiavone, Kim (David) Schiavone-Fitch, Johanna Schiavone, Tamra Schiavone, Dean (Sally) Schiavone and Vincent (Amy) Schiavone; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 11 a.m.   Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
