Barbara A. Narges

            Barbara A. Narges “Mimi”, 71, of Northwood Ohio, peacefully went home to God on June 24, 2017.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio to George and Marie Zankl.  Barb was a 1964 graduate of Central Catholic.  Barb went on to spend many years teaching German at her alma mater.  Her love of cooking and baking was apparent in the amazing food she created.  Mimi also loved to garden.  One of her favorite pastimes was watching the birds in her gardens.  She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her family. 

            Barb is survived by her loving and supportive husband of fifty years, Michael Narges; son, Eric (Lisa) Narges; daughter, Christy (Matt) Rowley; her adoring grandchildren, Nick, Aiden, Kennedy, Averi, Addy, Emma and Abby; sister, Marion Boehm and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents George and Marie Zankl and brother-in-law, Hans Boehm.

            Honoring her wishes, a memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. where family will receive guests after 9 a.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen foundation.
