Betty Morse

            Betty Morse, age 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on January 5, 2017.      

She was born on August 26, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Vera (Coleman) Larnhart.  Betty was a graduate of Waite High School and worked as a secretary and receptionist for a number of businesses, but primarily for the Ohio State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.  She was active in the past with the Women of the Church of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Toledo, OH and served on the East Toledo Board of Mental Health.  In her spare time she enjoyed family gatherings, socializing and traveling with family and friends, and ballroom dancing. 

            She is survived by her sons, Lyle and William Morse, grandchildren, Stacey, Megan and Deanna. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, and her brothers Harold, William, Edward, and Richard Larnhart. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the chapel at Genacross Lutheran Services-Toledo Campus, 131 N. Wheeling St. in Toledo gathering at 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:  Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation, 2021 N. McCord Road, Toledo, OH 43615.
