Christie Marie Tober

     Christie M. Tober, 37, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home. She was born in Toledo on November 21, 1978 to Chris and Debborah (Gargac) Tober and was a loving and devoted mother to her three children, Brian, James and Miranda Born. Christie was a gifted artist who loved gardening, writing poetry and drawing. She spent countless hours preparing her kids Halloween costumes and elaborate makeup.

     Christie is also survived by her parents, Chris and Deb; significant other, Brian Born; grandmother, Justine Gargac; brothers, Brandon and Michael Tober along with many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest Gargac, Alfred and Florence Tober and special aunt, Rosemary Tober.

     Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 2 - 8 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 10 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
