Deloris (Cook) Kidd

     Deloris Kidd, 76, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Patterson, VA on May 11, 1940 to Ella and Sherman Cook and attended Grundy High School. After being injured, Deloris retired from Reichert Stamping in Toledo. In her spare time, she loved watching WWE wrestling and old western movies.

     She is survived by her loving granddaughter whom she cared for as a daughter, Ambur Tillett (Christopher); great-grandchildren, “Princess” Rainey-Ja’Nae Lanham and “Baby Boy” Jaymeson Ward; siblings, Russell Cook, Shirley Compton and Arnie Bostic; niece, Jenny Taylor and special friend who was like a grandson to Deloris, Kevin Erard. Deloris was preceded in death by her father, Sherman, mother, Ella Cook-Bostic; beloved husband, Donald Kidd; son, Ricky St. Clair; grandson, Jeff Williams; brother, Ted Cook and sister, Ruth Mullins.

     The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert Miller and Geri Bancroft, her Piccaddily East Apartment friends for all of their love, help and support.  A private graveside service was held at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
