Dennis A. Eischen, Sr.

     Dennis A. Eischen, Sr., 55, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 15, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert J. and Maizella J. (Bancroft) Eischen, Sr. and was a graduate of Macomber High School class of 1979.

     Dennis worked as an electrician for 34 years with Regent Electric thru Local 8. He was an avid kayaker who loved photographing the outdoors. He enjoyed biking and travelling but his greatest passion was supporting his family. Dennis had a unique sense of humor and a giving spirit. He was a Boy Scout Leader for many years and gave of his time and talents volunteering with St. Thomas Aquinas Church, NDA Crew, Cardinal Stritch, and Operation 300 at YMCA Storer Camp.

     Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Nadine Eischen; children, Dennis Eischen, Jr., Elizabeth (Mitchel) Streight and Jessica Eischen; siblings, Robert (Joan), Eischen, Jr., Margaret Eischen and Steven Eischen; sister-in-law, Christine Kollarik and brothers-in-law, James (Cheryl) Phalen and Jeff (Cindi) Phalen along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Freck Funeral Chapel from 2 – 8 p.m. where a service will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home followed by inurnment in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
