Donna M. (Lippert) Kern

            Donna M. Kern, 85, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, surrounded by her family at ProMedica Bay Park Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 3, 1931 to Arthur and Mary (Frusher) Lippert. Donna was a homemaker before working at N.F.O. for 20 years until she retired. She was close to her Lord and frequented many churches. Donna was a former member of the Eastern Stars. She loved the time spent with her family and they will miss her dearly.

            Donna is survived by her loving, children, Barbara Owen, Sally (Richard) Berglund and John (Sheryl) Kern and grandchildren, Clint, Blake, Sarah and Jacob; brother, Arthur (Vicki) Lippert.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Kern Sr. and best friend, Alice Jiminez.

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10 to 12 p.m. The Funeral will begin that day at 12 p.m. in the funeral chapel.  Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s choice.
