James Bannister

            James Bannister, 80, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017.  He was born on December 3, 1936 in Toledo to Howard and Ruth Bannister.  James served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He worked for the Dana Corporation for 37 before retiring.

            James is survived by his children:  Christine (Mark) Kerivan, James Bannister and Thomas (Juliann) Bannister; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and his brother, Bob Bannister.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. where military honors will be performed at 6 p.m.
