Jerome Lee Kern

            Jerome Lee Kern, 57, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Mercy-St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo. He was born in Toledo on July 14, 1959 to John and Evie (Alexander) Kern and served our country in the U.S. Army. Jerome was a truck driver and an avid sports fan. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.

            Jerome is survived by his mom, Evie Siminiak; father, John (Jean) Kern; brothers, Mike (Beth) Hemmig, John (Cindi) Kern and Mark Kern; sister, Dawn Bryant and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Kern; grandparents; other family members and loving companion, Victoria Friess.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Oakwood Cemetery 8551 Brown Rd. in Curtice, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the American Diabetes Association or St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.  Online condolences may be sent to www.freckchapel.com.
