John E (Jr) Philips

            John E. Philips Jr., age 36, passed at his home on May 3, 2016.  He was born in Cleveland, OH on August 28, 1979 to John and Mary (Johnson) Philips Sr. He worked as a painter and welder. John enjoyed fishing and tattooing. He will be dearly missed.

            John is survived by his wife, Sara Philips; children, Selena Harrison, Kaylee Burghardt, Lauren Burghardt, Devin Burghardt, Luther Ducat, Micheala Ducat, Djay Brown, Amanda Burford; parents, Mary (Raymond) Harmacinski and John Philips Sr.; granddaughter, Aleiah Slates; sister; Heather (Matthew Rachow) Draime; step-brother, Anton Harmacinski; grandparents, Margaret (Lawrence) Johnson and Helen Zurbola and his nieces, Trinity Draime and Bristy Speelman. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Philips and step-sister, Holly Harmacinski.

            A celebration of John’s life will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Pearson Park in the shelter house by the tennis courts from 12-6 p.m. Please bring a dish and your fishing pole.  Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
