Joseph J. "Joe" Goulet

            Joseph J. Goulet, 70, of Curtice, OH passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on March 27, 1946 in Curtice, OH to Otis and Eleanor (Rought) Goulet.  Joe worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Fondessy, B.F.I. and Waste Management. He was also a farmer all of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to auctions and fixing cars, his favorite were Corvettes. Joe’s time spent with his granddaughters was most precious to him. He will be dearly missed.    

            Joe is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandy; children, Stephanie (Rick) Tuttle and Jacob Goulet; granddaughters, Brianna, Katlyn and Emma Tuttle; siblings, Ronald, Dianne, Donald, Mary and Cindy. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Micheal and brother, Kenneth.

            Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, OH, on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 2 - 8 p.m. where a Veterans Honors Service will be held at 7 p.m.  The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd, Oregon, OH. where family will greet guests after 10 a.m.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to his family or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
