Joshua Alan Martin

Joshua Alan Martin, age 31, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at home. Joshua was born to Doug and Lillian (Walker) Martin on October 8, 1985.  He graduated from Genoa High School in 2004 where he won the SLL and missed going to the state wrestling championship by one match.  Josh was most proud of being Genesis’ daddy, and being a Union Boilermaker.  He loved Genesis dearly and enjoyed being silly with her and taking her shopping.  He was a hard worker and never balked at the most difficult and dirty jobs.  Josh was very playful and thoroughly enjoyed partying with friends and family, playing cards and other games.   Josh traveled and enjoyed many great times at his parents’ cottage in Michigan. 

Josh is survived and will be greatly missed by his daughter; Genesis, parents; Doug and Lill, brothers; Dustin (Lesley Brooks), Mark, and Brian, and grandmother; Patricia (Roy) McAllister. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Timothy Martin, Wayne and Ruth Walker. 

Family and friends visitation at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday 9-11.  Funeral services will follow @ at 11 a.m in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Williston Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Fund for Genesis to assist her in adult life at the Funeral Home or @ any Huntington Bank.  There will be food and beverages provided at The Boilermaker Union Hall, 319 Glenwood Rd, Rossford, Ohio 43460 following burial.
