Karl G. "Baby Karl" Avery Jr.

            Karl G. “Baby Karl” Avery Jr., 24, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016.  He was born on August 9, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio to Karl and Marjorie (Ferguson) Avery Sr. Karl worked for Seagate Roofing as a Roofer. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Michigan Wolverines or the Dallas Cowboys, but above all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly his daughter.

            Karl is survived by his beloved daughter, Ozzylynn Perkins-Avery; mother, Marjorie (Jason) Bickford; father, Karl (Sheila Pressley) Avery; sister, Amber Avery; nephew, Jayden Avery; grandmother, Marylee Ferguson; biological aunts, Beulah (Steven) and Marylee (Jeremey); best friend and uncle, Leon Carter; as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bonnie Wieczorek and Darrell Ferguson; uncle, Gleen and aunt, Charlotte (Howard) Roach.

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 3–9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, OH. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Karl Avery Funeral Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
