Marilyn J. (Norton) Doyle

            Marilyn J. Doyle, 92, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Orchard Villa surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 16, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Dale and Aleen (Burgie) Norton. Marilyn graduated from Whitney High School. She was a Telephone Operator for multiple companies. Marilyn was a member of the Lutheran Home Guild and St. Mark Lutheran Church where she was a volunteer and helped a lot in the Nursery. In her spare time she enjoyed line dancing, reading and cherished the time spent with her family.

            She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Ed IV) Conliss, Harry (Jody) Doyle Jr., Patricia Buehrer and Dennis (Lisa) Doyle Brigadier General; grandchildren, Mike (Lori), Meghan, Austin, Kurt, Devin (Amanda), Bob (Miriam), Kim (Chris); great-grandchildren, Ericha (Jose), Nathan (Danielle); great-great-granddaughter, Ava, as well as many extended family and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Doyle Sr.; brother, Donald.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on July 11, 2016 from 10 - 12 p.m.  Memorial Services will be held on that day at 12 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Independence Hospice or the donor’s choice.
