Mark Allen Shepard

            Mark Allen Shepard, 50, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on July 25, 2016 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.  Mark was born to Warren and Jeanette (Zunk) Shepard on September 2, 1965 in Oregon, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mark was married to Kelly Young for 23 years and together they raised 3 children.  He was a graduate of Lake High School and worked as an Assembler for N.S.S. Enterprise. Mark was one of the biggest O.S.U. fans you could ever meet. He will be missed by all his life touched.

            Mark was preceded in death by his father, Warren Shepard and nephew, Todd Simpson.  He is survived by his wife, Kelly Shepard; children; Michelle (Eddie) Blank, Warren “Tyler” Shepard and Emily Shepard; grandchildren, Noah, Sienna and Corbin Blank and Carter Shepard; mother, Jeanette Shepard and sisters, Janice (Roland) Sandrock and Cheryl Shepard.

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10 a.m. to noon. A memorial service will be held that day at noon in the funeral chapel followed by a veteran’s service. Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
