Mary Riffe Obituary

Mary Louise Riffe, 79, died Friday, February 9, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Regency Hospital. She was born March 18, 1938 in Lake City, TN to the late William and Bonnie Vaughn. Mary retired from Foodtown with 32 years service. She was a caregiver for her husband until he passed in 2004. Cookouts, get togethers and vacationing with family at Myrtle Beach was very special to Mary. She was affectionately known to her grandchildren as D.L. She enjoyed bunco and Detroit Tigers baseball. She was so proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by daughters Debbie (Scott) Powers, Sandy (Ron) Flick, and Linda (Rick) Cardenas, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brother William Vaughn Jr and best friend AnnaMay Price. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr., sons Robert Jr. and Michael, grandson Mark Flick and brother David Morris.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. and Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Life Connection of Ohio.
