Nancy Marie (Mesteller) Sendi

Nancy Marie Sendi, 86, of Oregon passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Otterbein of Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on February 17, 1930 to Joseph G. and Mary (Kardos) Mesteller and was a 1948 graduate of Waite High School. She was a loving wife of Louis Richard “Dick” Sendi and worked as a Data Entry Operator for Unicast and Owens Corning. Nancy was a faithful member of Calvin United Church of Christ where she was active in the Missionary Guild, baked communion bread and wrote a column in the church newsletter, Calvin Chimes. She loved baking Hungarian dishes and spending time with her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Victoria (Tony) Sendi Napier and Luann Sendi Jordan; grandsons, Blaine Napier, Kyle Napier and Brett Jordan along with sister, Donna Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother, Albert Mesteller.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, January 16, 2017 after 10 a.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank all the staff at ProMedica Hospice and Otterbein at Perrysburg for their compassionate care shown to their mom, Nancy and suggest memorial contributions to either place.
