Paul Richard Andrew Fredericksen, Sr.

            Paul Richard Andrew Fredericksen, Sr., 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 11, 1930 in Williston, Ohio to Andrew and Marie Fredericksen.  Paul was a lifetime farmer and worked as a glass cutter for L.O.F. for 32 years.  He was a volunteer fireman for the Jerusalem Twp. Fire Dept. and member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston where he was the church caretaker for many years.  In his spare time, Paul enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed.       

            Paul is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Rose Mary; sons, Paul (Laura) Fredericksen and Michael (Julie) Fredericksen; grandchildren, Ray (Jan) Fredericksen, Angel (Steve) Simok, Tucker (Angie) Fredericksen and Christy Cannon; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Haley, Kahl, Tucker, Rylee, Alaina, Charlotte, Jack and Jordan and special cousins, Bob Bodi, Betty Ball and Ray (Shirley) Fredericksen.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patricia Schlievert and his mother-in-law, Laura Vincent.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St. in Williston where family will receive guests after 10 a.m.  Burial will follow at Allen Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Jerusalem Twp. Fire Dept.
