            Ralph G. Kuhman, age 83, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital.  He was born on August 13, 1932 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Marguarite (Schultz) Kuhman. Ralph was a Korean War Army Veteran, Sergeant First Class and very proud to have served his country. He held many jobs and lived in several parts of the country. From a stained glass specialist to a condo manager, Ralph lived life on his own terms. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A., Bay Shore V.F.W. Post #9816, Christ Dunberger American Legion Post # 537 and a member of the Freemasons and Zenobia Shriners.

 

            Ralph will be remembered for his wit and great sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed, camping, crossword puzzles, hunting and cooking. Ralph bravely entered many Chili contests and finished many losses with a good beer. We thank him for instilling the love and art of Morel hunting in us.

 

            Ralph is survived by his loving daughters, Kristina (John) Boyd, Kathleen (Leo) Joustie, Rory (Tony Link) Kuhman; grandchildren, Juliette (Dan), Tyler (Jenna) and Cheyenne; great-grandson, Mason; siblings, Karen Youngs, Mary Jo Gniewkowski and his beloved aunt, Gertrude Durette. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, William and Shirley Ann Kuhman and lifetime friend, Dwight.

 

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on, Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Guard at Christ Dunberger American Legion Post #537.
