Richard "Dick" Kusan

            Richard T. Kusan, 92, of Northwood, OH. passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Parkcliffe Community at Northwood.  He was born on April 30, 1924 in Toledo, OH to Max and Sarah (Maracic) Kusan.  Dick attended Clay High School before serving in the U.S. Army during, WWII.  He worked as a Bus Driver and Custodian for the Oregon School System for many years.  Dick also ran an appliance and TV repair shop in Curtice, OH.  He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

            He is survived by his sister, Patricia Kusan and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his parents, his brothers Norbert and John and his sisters, Beatrice Spencer, Dolores Geisel, Josephine Dellinger, Elizabeth Whitman, Marie Gilliland and Francis Kusan.

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Bono, OH. where family will greet guests after 10 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
