RITA  (TROMPETER)  GRIES

Rita Gries, 83, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Arbors at Oregon. She was born in Toledo on July 30, 1933 to Anthony and Marie (Averbeck) Trompeter.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Diane Gries; grandsons, Christopher (Angela) Gries and Daniel (Tiara) HarpelaHH; great-grandchildren, Izabella Gries, Daniel Jr. and Colton Harpel and siblings, Marie (Bud), Evelyn (Art), Tommy and Barbara. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Gries and cat, Star.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, January 23, 2017 after 10 a.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
