Samuel Sinclair "Cy" Price

            Samuel Sinclair “Cy” Price, 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.  He was born on October 27, 1936. He came from Saltcoats, Scotland where he attended Ardrossan Academy and then immigrated to the United States, landing in New York City on October 12, 1956. Cy married Anna May Market in 1958 and later became a naturalized citizen of the U.S.A. He was a barber who owned and operated Toledo Heights Barber Shop until retiring in 1995. Cy enjoyed talking with people he met. He loved to travel in the United States and internationally with his family.

            Cy is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years, Anna May Price; daughters, Sharon Price and Susan Joseph; son, Phil (Chandra) Price; grandchildren, Stephanie, Shayna and Samuel Joseph, Caylee and Carigan Price; sister, Olive Angus and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mary Margaret (Sinclair) Price and sister, Enid Garner.

             Arrangements have been entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel. A celebration of Cy’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 294 Wakefield Place, Oregon, OH from 3 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army 620 N. Erie Street, Toledo, OH 43604.
