William L. Dalton

William Dalton, 70, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born April 18, 1946 in Perrysburg to Fred and Ruth (LaFever) Dalton, Sr. and served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. For over 40 years, Bill was a railroad switchman with CSX, retiring in 2012. He was a member of the Rossford Eagles Aerie No. 2322 and in his spare time enjoyed riding his bike, hunting, fishing and going to casinos.

Bill is survived by his children, Robin (Willy) Smith, Greg (Henrietta) King, Thomas (Lori) King, Brent King and Timothy (Marsha) King; grandchildren, Joye, Eddie, Jesse, Diane, Trisha, Skyler and Hunter; several great-grandchildren and siblings, Fred Jr., Thomas, Jo, Doris, Sandy, Suzie, Charlie and other dear family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Dalton and several other siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
