Arturo Angelo Lopez “Jr.” age 8, of Oregon went home to be with the Lord. Arturo was a very energetic outgoing young man who had many aspirations and wanted to be just like his father and drive snowplow. He was a very helpful little boy and a second grade student at Wynn Elementary in Mrs. Ostrander’s class.

Arturo is survived by his loving parents, Arturo Manuel and Dawn Marie (Perry) Lopez, sisters, Megan Marie Tingley, Emily May Lopez, and Shelby Rose Lopez, brother, Antonio Cruz Zimmerman, grandparents, Roger and Linda Perry, Laverna Lopez, and Jose’ Garcia, Godparents, Michael and Beth Short, aunts and uncles, Hope and Homer Turner, Aleisha Lopez and Ramon DeAnda, Oscar and Marie Garcia, and many others, and special cousins, Rayna, Carley, Mondo, Eddie, Mariah, little Jay, Jesse, Angel, and Martha. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Eduardo Garcia, Elmer and Rosemary Seimet, uncle, Tim Seimet, uncle, Russel Perry, and cousins, Thomas Jose’ Whitten and Mia Turner.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church-Bono Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family would like to thank Arturo’s friends at Maumee Bay Turf Center especially PJ Kaphammer and Brad Morrison.
