Ermelinda “Linda” (Hinojosa) Jenkins passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born February 5, 1960 in Oregon, Ohio to Juan and Inocencia Hinojosa. Linda was a graduate of Clay High School and was employed by Mondo Mechanical. A proud organ donor, she was fortunate to help her brother by donating her kidney. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Juan Hinojosa, brothers, Joseph and Timothy Hinojosa, nephew, Jerry “Bear” Berry and niece Kelsey Spencer. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jason (Kristie) Greene; daughter, Sara Greene; grandchildren: Corey, Abby, Becca and Makayla; fiancé, Frank Reece and children, Christopher Adam, Emily Nicole, Stephanie Lynn and Natalie Marie Reece. Linda is also survived by her mother, Inocencia Hinojosa, brothers, Robert (Rachel) Hinojosa, Juan Armando (Sue) Hinojosa, Jim (Patty) Hinojosa, Rick (Miranda) Hinojosa and Alex Hinojosa; sisters, Jane (Al) Rizo, Eloise Avila, Estella (Humberto) Reyes, Gloria (Dennis) Taylor, Sylvia Spencer, Virginia (Dan) Algarin, Rachel Hinojosa, Esther (Terry) Dohanas and Aurora (Steve) Harsanje along with many nieces, nephews and very dear friends especially, Annette Archambo. Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will be start at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday and continue on with the Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ignatius Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. |
