In Loving Memory of Jackie L. Downs Aug. 10, 1953 - April 03, 2008 Age: 54

Jackie L. Downs age 54 of Oregon passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 3, 2008. Jackie was born to Jack and Rose Foster August 10, 1953 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a graduate of Clay High School and worked construction with the Local 20 for 11 years. Most recently, Jackie was a bus driver for the Oregon City Schools. She was a member of the VFW 9816 Women’s Auxiliary. Jackie was truly a wonderful person who had two wonderful boys and a wonderful husband. Jackie is survived by her loving husband, David A. Downs, sons, Domingo (Barb) Chapa III, and Zachary Q. Snyder, mother, Rose A. Foster, grandchildren, Thomas, Autumn, Jonathan, Alexis, and Noah, sisters, Carol (Ray) Morelli, Sherry Bernheisel, and Rebecca (Randy) Houghtalling, and many nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Jack. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. VFW 9816 Auxiliary Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Jackie’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
