In Loving Memory of Jackie N. Powers June 22, 1932 - May 3, 2008 Age: 75

Jackie N. Powers, 75, of Toledo passed away peacefully Friday, May 2, 2008 at home under hospice care. Jack was born on June 22, 1932 in Harlan County, KY. to Cecil and Ontie Powers. He loved hunting, fishing and talking about the old times. Jack worked 35 years as a die setter for Acklin Stamping Co. He will be missed by his caring and loving soul mate, Pauline Billings. Jack is survived by his children: Jack (Linda) Powers, Jim (Beth) Powers, Terry (Vickie) Hilbert, Sharon (Ron) Smith and Jeannie Powers, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jackie loved people, his church, family, friends, many cousins and his K-9 companion, Pepper. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joan. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Garrett Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of N.W. Ohio or Harvest Tabernacle Church of God.
