In Loving Memory of James E. Cousino

Age: 80
James E. Cousino, 80, of Northwood, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Genoa Care Center. He was born on April 23, 1927 in Toledo to Earl and Violet (Wells) Cousino. After graduating from Waite High School, James proudly served his country during WWII, in the US Navy aboard the USS Seminole. He attended the Purdue University before marrying his wife, Patricia (Sutherland) on August 18, 1951. James worked for Owens-Illinois as an Engineer and retired in 1984. He was a member of the Arthur Daly American Legion Post #334, where he served as Past Commander. James also served as Past Commander of Lucas County Council of the American Legion and was a member of the 40 et 8 along with the Wolf Creek Sportsman’s Club.

He is survived by his daughters; Jody (Don) Chesher, and Jamie Fincher, daughter-in-law, Lisa Cousino; grandchildren: Dawn (Ben Brien) Breier, Erin (Chris) VanDyke, Mike and Tara Fincher and Jenna and Nicole Cousino, great-granddaughter Marissa Laraby. James was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia; son, Tom Cousino and sister, Helen McNutt.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel Wynn at Pickle Rd. (419) 693-9304, on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. where Legion Services will be held at 7 p.m. followed by 40 et 8 service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of N.W. Ohio, Northwood Fire Dept, Arthur Daly Post or Donor’s Choice.
