In Loving Memory of Lawrence Alford January 13, 1938 - January 13, 2008 Age: 70

Lawrence P. Alford, 70, passed away on January 13, 2008, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Lawrence was born in Toledo, Ohio to Paul and Mayrose (Gschwind) Alford on January 13, 1938. He worked as an electrician, until his retirement. Left to celebrate his life are his wife, Mary, along with his children; John (Olivia), Carol, James (Maryann), Laura (Leo) Paquin, Dan (Sharon), Edward (Sharon), Rob (Brandy) and Fred; seventeen grandchildren; brothers, Mike, Darrus (Linda), and Charles (Gwen); sisters, Marie LaGrange, Nancy Speelman and Cindy (Jim) Cole. Lawrence was preceded in death by his sister Dolly and brother Joe. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, Thursday, January 17, 2008 from 3-9 p.m. where a Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 in the funeral home and proceed to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
