In Loving Memory of Madelyn Sheets July 29, 1929 - January 27, 2008 Age: 78

Madelyn C. (Lombardo) Sheets, 78, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Hospice of N.W. Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born in Walbridge, Ohio on July 29, 1929 to Paul and Concetta (Pulcrano) Lombardo. In her younger years and for 36 years Madelyn was employed as a secretary by the federal government (Federal Mediation Service). She was a 1947 graduate of Walbridge High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Sheets; brothers, Tony Lombardo and Mike (Robin) Lombardo; sister Jo Ann (Robert) Lillibridge; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard and Eileen Sheets; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Pauline A. Young and Mary L. Holey. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon (419) 693-9304, on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 2-9 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home and continue on with the funeral mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Madelyn’s memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Hospice of N.W. Ohio.
