In Loving Memory of Margaret J. Szilagye July 2, 1925 - May 6, 2008 Age: 82

Margaret Julia Szilagye left her earthly body and entered her eternal domain on May 6, 2008 at the age of 82. She was born on July 2, 1925 in Northwood, Ohio to Luke and Julia Yanosik. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who’s whole life was her family and church. She was a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Margaret was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed gardening and was often found crocheting or knitting in her spare time. She is survived by her loving son, Ron (Maureen) Szilagye; grandchildren: Joel (Karissa) Sobecki, Alycia Szilagye, Isaac Szilagye and Ambre Szilagye; and great-grandchildren: Jake, Anna and Izabella. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph and son, Richard. Friends may call at Freck Funeral Chapel, Wynn at Pickle Rd. (419) 693-9304, Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church.
