Marion "Papaw" Hayes73, of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital.  He was born on July 25, 1938 in Middlesboro, KY to Charlie and Floella Hayes.  Marion proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a devoted family man and worked as a fence installer for many years.  Marion enjoyed spending time with his family, taking car rides and trips down South.  
Marion is survived by his children:  David Hayes, Sherry (William) Hocking, Charles Hayes and Scott Hayes; grandchildren:  Gary (Laura) Moore, Jordan Hayes, Melissa Melendrez, Marissa and Mindy Hayes; great-grandchildren:  Marcus, Isabelle, Monica, Mia and Miley and sisters, Edith and Victoria Hayes.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Wanda.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday from 12-3 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
