Traditional Burial
Traditional Burial arrangements include visitation hours. Visitation can vary from those who prefer the more common full night before the day of the service to a few hours of visiting on the day of the funeral. A service charge is a package that a funeral home puts together which includes all the necessary charges for a specific type of arrangement.
For your convenience we have compiled a list of service charges for area funeral homes. These charges can be verified from the General Price Lists we have obtained from the cited funeral homes and all were verified on July 1, 2006, it is noted on the General Price Lists that their prices are subject to change without notice. The Funeral Homes we have compiled along with prices for one night visitation are: Freck Funeral Chapel at $1,995

Cremation

Cremation can include a time of visitation with the body present. This arrangement proves to be very valuable for surviving family members offering them a time for closure. Memorial services can also be held after the cremation takes place. These services can be held in your church, our funeral home, or at the cemetery. The most important thing is to create a farewell event that is meaningful and satisfying to you and others who will participate. These arrangements include the family's involvement in planning a truly fitting service. The display of photographs and cherished items can help to memorialize someone who has passed. As with any time of reflection, the possible options are endless. We serve to help provide the guidance to plan these services properly. The costs involved with all cremation options are considerably less than traditional burial.
Cremation arrangements can be less costly simply because you can eliminate some if not all the costs that are invovled with cemeteries, depending on where you decide to establish a place for permanent memorialization. Some families keep their loved one at home and display them in an urn, others may bury the ashes in a cemetery or decide to scatter the ashes at a favorite place.

For all the above arrangements at Freck Funeral Chapel, the additional purchase of merchandise is not included.

The advance plans made for funeral services can be very valuable helping to answer the many questions families face when they lose a loved one. Family wishes can be kept on file and used when the need arises. Pre-paid plans can be made in advance which will lock the price of a funeral in at that time, even though the need may not be for years. This can be done with pre-planning insurance available at the funeral home or trusting the money with a bank.
Perhaps a person has enough insurance already in place, this insurance can be used to cover the costs as well. A written record is kept at the funeral home of choices from service preferences to biographical information. There is no charge to keep a record at the funeral home. This helps your family understand how you would prefer the arrangements be handled.
If you or someone you know has already pre-arranged ... Many people have taken advantage of pre-planning already. These arrangements can also be handled by Freck Funeral Chapel. There are no transfer fees or hassles, simply let us know your wishes now or even tell a close family member and these arrangements can be taken care of at the time of need. The insurance company holding the funds and the contract for services will stay the same.
