Antonio "Tony" Ruiz Obituary

Antonio “Tony” Ruiz, 64, died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born November 13, 1953 in Toledo to the late Pedro and Maria (Vasquez) Ruiz. Tony was a graduate of Waite High School. He was a Dallas Cowboy and OSU fan and attended all his grandchildren’s activities. Tony was very proud of his family.

Tony is survived by children Tony Nichols, Eric Ruiz, Boone Ruiz and Kristy Ruiz, Sally Roberts his loving companion of 20 years, step children Richard Delarosa, Antonia (K.C.) Rose, Bobby (Leslie) Roberts, Nicole Roberts and Nina Roberts, multiple grandchildren including Tony, Matt, Vinny, Reece, Chandler, Yisenia, Celi, Mari, Jasmine, Marissa, Angel, Bella, Ashton, Lorenzo, Boo Boo and Anthony, sisters Beatrice, Peggy, Angie (Mark) and Maria (John), numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Ruben, Rudy and Ernest.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. with a funeral service at the funeral home Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
