Ashley M. Cope

Ashley M. Cope, 31, of Toledo, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.  She was born on June 14, 1987 in Oregon, Ohio to Marie Angel and Michael Miner.  Ashley was a 2005 graduate of Clay High School and was a proud mother of her two beautiful daughters.  Ashley was always up for a good time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed going on trips with her family to the “Lake.”  Ashley loved sports, especially the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.  She also enjoyed beating everyone at fantasy football and bowling. 

Ashley is survived by her loving family; husband, Gregory Cope; daughters, Lucy Marie and Avery Corrine; parents, Marie J. (Larry) Miner Monday; grandparents, Leonard and Mary Angel, Wilma Monday, John Schmidt and Theresa Cope; brothers, Joshua (Katie) Miner and Kenneth (Alicia) Monday; in-laws, Laurie (Denny) Jenkins and Vince (Kathy) Cope Sr.; brothers and sister-in-law, Vince Cope Jr., Larry Cope and Patty (Alex) Armenio, her nieces, Addi, Julia, Audrey, Ava and Keira and her group of close knit friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Miner; brother, Roy; son, Brenden and grandparents, Dale Monday, Roy and Darla Miner and Corrine Schmidt.  

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lucy and Avery Cope fund at any Huntington Bank.
