Barbara Ann (Zielinski) Symington

     Barbara A. "Ski" Symington, 78, of Perrysburg and formerly of Toledo passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born October 18, 1938 in South Bend, IN and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. Barbara retired from Westhaven Pharmaceuticals. Her first marriage in 1960 was to Edward J. Hans and her second marriage was to Robert E. Symington in 1972. She loved gardening, listening to music, dancing and travelling throughout the south.

     Barbara is survived by her children, Michele Wharry, Christine Hans (Becky), Lisa Hans, Edward Hans, Bobbi (John) Gercak; grandchildren, Samantha, Zachary, Miranda and stepgrandchildren, Zachary and Amanda. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed and Bob; mother, Josephine Rounds; grandparents, Rose and Peter Zielinski; uncle, Ed Zielinski and son-in-law, Paul Wharry.

     Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 11-1 p.m. with a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions are appreciated to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Toledo Humane Society.
