“Dick”

Richard T. Kish age 82, of Walbridge, OH passed away surrounded by his family Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. Dick was born October 17, 1935 to Emery and Anna (Skully) Kish. He was a proud graduate of Central Catholic and served our country in the U.S. Army. Dick was a LOF retiree. Dick was an avid Nascar and baseball fan. He was known for his beautiful yard and garden. Above all, Dick loved and cherished his family; children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his beautiful wife of 60 years; Colleen (Hurst), children; Shawn Marie (Richard) Barteck, Steve (Traci), Dan (Beth), Andy (Tiffany), grandchildren; Katie (Mike) Fitzpatrick, Jonathan (Jenni) Barteck, Taylor Barteck, Dru Kish, Cody Kish, Deric (Katie) Ritchey, Barry Ritchey and Alivia Kish, great-grandchildren; Logan, Reese, Peyton, Madi, McKayla and Zeke, brothers; Larry (Mary Alice), Al (Mika), John (Georgia) and sister-in-law; Pat Kish. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Norma, and brother, Donnie.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 3 - 8 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church where the family will receive friends after 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jerome Catholic Church.
