Dorothy Ann (Wasserman) Dippman

Dorothy Ann Dippman, age 95, formerly of Curtice, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital. Dorothy was born to William and Marie (Maire) Wasserman March 13, 1923 at home in Wood County. She was a 1941 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Dorothy was a lifelong member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She loved to play cards and garden. Dorothy was a spectacular baker and enjoyed hosting family dinners. She was the family's daily prayer warrior.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Deborah (Don) Zimmerman, Douglas (Debra) Dippman, and Daniel (Terri) Dippman; grandchildren, Marc , Jeff, and Mike Zimmerman, Andrea Siparsky, Jamie Noble, Kendra Zenk, Kristen Rice, and Jacob Dippman; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Elsie Dippman, Vi Gahler, Angela Dunn, Jane Cajka, Leo Wasserman, Anna May Sattler, and Verna Konesky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Donald Dippman in 2010, and siblings, Rita Boes, Louella Fairchild, Donald Wasserman, and Leonard Wasserman.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 2 - 8 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. and continue on with the Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Ignatius Building Fund.
