Dorothy Louise Walls

Dorothy Walls, 87, died Monday, October 2, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 26, 1930 in Au Sable, MI to the late Burt and Louise (Caswell) Strong. Dorothy enjoyed shopping, antiques, old movies and especially her grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Frederick, daughter Karen and brothers Stanley and Robert Strong. She is survived by children David (Judy) Walls, Robert (Ellie) Walls, Brian (Lea) Walls, Lynn Walls and Alice (David) Williams, grandchildren Michelle, Johnie, Leah, Jessica and Matthew, great grandchildren Nathan, Ashley, Samantha and Andrew, great great grandson Jaziah, siblings Larry (Delores) Strong and Kathy (Harvey) Ballas, numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4155 Pickle Rd. in Oregon, OH. Burial will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Twp., MI.
