Elizabeth "Becky" Lee (Bullock) Rickman

        Elizabeth Lee (Bullock) Rickman “Becky” age 63, of Oregon, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Becky was born to Seldon “Bull” and Edna “Pat” Bullock in Oregon, Ohio January 27, 1954. She graduated from Clay High School in 1972. Becky was a lifetime auxiliary member of Northwood VFW #2984 and a longtime camper at Bluegrass Campground in Swanton. She had many roles; she was the first woman umpire in the area, a bus driver, custodian and a caretaker for many. Becky enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, and going out with her breakfast buddies. Becky will be remembered for her feisty personality and her love for her family and spending time with them. This “tough cookie” put up a brave and courageous fight until the day she was called home.  

        

            Becky is survived by her loving husband, Robert Louis Rickman, Jr.; children, Kelly (Patrick) Hamill, Leslee (Troy) Holliday and Brad (Teresa Terry) Rickman; grandchildren, Tyler, Jonathan, Blake, Alexandra, Shay, Mackenzie and Morgan; special niece, Katie; mother-in-law and bingo buddy, Shirley Rickman; siblings, Jerry (Judy) Bullock, Danny (Shari) Bullock, Sandy (Doug) Huber; many loving nieces; nephews and furry friends, Elvis and Jeeter. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Louis Rickman III; parents; father-in-law, Robert Louis Rickman Sr.; sister, Kathy Scaggs; brother, Rick Bullock and brother-in-law, Jon Rickman.   

            Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Great lakes Hospice.

The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at St. Charles for the fabulous care and support during her many stays at the hospital and heartfelt gratitude to Tami Vincent for her persistence and compassion.
