Irene D. (Piorkowski) Moulton

Irene Moulton, 88, previously of Walbridge, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Genacross Lutheran Home with her children at her side. She was born on August 8, 1930 in Toledo to Ignatz and Frances Piorkowski. Irene married Bill Moulton on October 2, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Busia, as everyone called her, loved to cook, fish, snowmobile and pitch horseshoes while she was a snowbird in Florida. Her greatest joy was watching her grandchildren grow up and spending time with them. There was never a person who was not welcomed into her home.

Irene is survived by her son, Rick Moulton, Findlay; daughter, Cyndie McPherson, Walbridge; grandchildren Chris (Sarah) Armstrong, Cari (Ben Mermelstein) Armstrong and great grandchildren, Otis, Gloria and Conor. Also two very special friends, Jackie Schmidt and Marlene Boyce. The family extends thanks to the staff of Genacross for your care; especially Robin. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter Piorkowski.

Per Irene’s wishes, services will be private with final resting place at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
