James Dillon Obituary

James P. Dillon, 70, of Toledo passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Toledo Hospital. He was born December 18, 1948 in Cleveland to James Thomas Dillon and Mary V. (Krietner). James graduated with a bachelor degree in Biology from The Ohio State University. While in college, he was in the ROTC and proudly served in the Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Major before being honorably discharged in 1990. James then went on to work for the City of Toledo Water Treatment, retiring in 2008 as administrator of operations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Dillon; children, Carrie (Larry) Smith, James H. Dillon, Denise (Lance) Thorp; grandchildren, Allison, Carley, Trent, Kennedy, Aleigha, Neriah, Reddick; and his mother, Mary V. Neagley. He is preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Dillon.

All services will be private at this time. The family asks for any donations to be sent to the funeral home.
