James Campbell Obituary

 

Jim Campbell, 67, of Curtice, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at home. He was born January 31, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to James and Helen (Hampton) Campbell. Jim was a 1969 graduate of Waite High School and later graduated from the University of Toledo. He retired from the City of Oregon in 2017. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing and woodworking. He also was a member of the North Toledo Sportsman’s Club. Jim was happiest spending time with his family and friends, especially out on the lake.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Vicky (Pirolli) Campbell; daughters Alyson (Dennis) Walker, Abbey Campbell, and Angela (Mark) Bihn. Jim was the proud grandfather of Aubree and Cydnee Walker, and Benjamin and Evelyn Bihn. Jim will also be greatly missed by his brother Michael (Jean) Campbell; and his sisters Lynn (John) Jagos and Julie (James) McCann; brother-in-law Tony Pirolli; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, OH 43616.
