John Karl Gadus Jr.

John Karl Gadus, Jr., age 26, went home to the Lord May 28, 2018. He was born October 29, 1991 to John and Dorothy Gadus. John affectionately known as Jonco was their only son and was one of their proudest accomplishments.

Jonco was one of a kind. He had an infectious personality and everyone that he met became a friend. He had this aura that you just wanted to be around. Jonco was funny, caring, and the kindest soul. He was a master outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt with his father, uncles, and friends. He loved Lake Erie and made a career of that passion cutting fish. He was not just a fish cutter, but the “Best” fish cutter. His happiest times were on the lake with people he loved.

Jonco leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Jacklynn Anne Gadus whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Gadus; sisters, Sara Gadus and Amy Gadus; nephews, Mark Bryant and Caleb Hayward; nieces, Madison Isaacs and Maci Isaacs. He will forever be their “Uncle Ronco”. Jonco is preceded in death by his father, John K. Gadus and grandfather, Karl John Gadus. He will be forever missed more than words can explain and will always be remembered by all that knew him.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon from 3-8 p.m Friday, June 1, 2018. Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 12 p.m. at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 601 Nevada St., Toledo, OH 43605. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of his daughter, Jacklynn Anne.
