Kevin A. Workman

Kevin A. Workman, 61, of Millbury, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg Center.  He was born on March 8, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio.  Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Clay High School.  He was the owner along with his wife, Connie of McCroskey Workman Homes, Inc.  Kevin was very proud of the 300+ homes he built and the attention to detail he placed into each one.  He had been a custom home builder for 30 years, displaying his excellent carpentry work in both rough and finish work.  Kevin was also a Firefighter/EMT for Lake Twp.- Millbury for 12 years.

Kevin enjoyed being in his wood shop making custom pieces for family and friends.  Any free time he had was spent at “The Snow House” snowmobiling and enjoying the outdoors with friends and with his dogs.  He was an avid deer and duck hunter and raced motocross for 20 years.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 38 years, Connie; daughter, Jenna (Robert Patchin) Workman; mother, Mary “Peg” Workman; sister, Diana (Russ) Mead, Donna (Michael) Jablonski and Julie (Denny Jacobs) Lake; brother-in-law, Allen (Nancy Swigart) Wells.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 2-8 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Lake Twp. Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
