Lawrence Owen “Larry” Jones, 64, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 4, 1954. Larry was a 1972 graduate of Northwood High School and attended UTMC. He was an avid sports fan of Detroit, Mud Hens, and Packers. He loved camping.

Larry is survived by Juanita, his loving wife of 45 years; children, Shawn (Lynette) Jones and Jodi Prisk; grandchildren, Natalie, Bryan, Amy, Poe and Weylyn; great-grandson, Nate; sisters, Brenda and Susan Jones. He is preceded in death by parents, Marshall and Ota (Roberts) Jones; sister, Diane Bauman and brother, Dennis Jones.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, May, 18, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. with family sharing at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral arrangements.
