Marvin L. Williams

Marvin L. Williams, 39, of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on November 19, 1977 in Mansfield, Ohio to Marvin Shelton and Elaine Williams and was a 1996 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Marvin honorably served our country in the U.S. Army. He had a tireless work ethic and worked as a pipefitter for Toledo Refining Company thru UA Local 50. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking ribs for the neighborhood and spending time with his family especially his children. He was kind hearted and always put others first.

He is survived by his children, Lamar Yocum, Tiara Haney, Deondre Williams, Derek Williams, Delainey Williams, Brynna Williams, Jaxon Williams Jayden Williams, Caleb Williams, McKenzie Coger and Rylee Coger; fiancée, Melissa Miller; father, Marvin Shelton; siblings, Peggy (Lonnie) Williams, Carolyn (Robert ) Stewart, Sharron Williams and Famico Williams along with many nieces and nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Williams.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 10-1 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
