Phillip W Vallejo

Phillip W. Vallejo, 69, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Phillip was born February 14, 1949 to Miguel and Julia (Cuevas) Vallejo. Phillip was a proud veteran, having served in the Vietnam War under the United States Army. Phillip worked at Daimler-Chrysler for 33 years as a forklift-operator before his retirement in 2001.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Olga Vallejo; daughters, Monica Adams, Christina (Michael) Suffel, Jessica (Rob) Tischler, Andrea (Angel) Vallejo-Garcia; grandchildren, John Phillip, Javier, Judah, Mia, Gianna, Sophia, Cecilia, Dominic, Lucia, Joaquin; siblings, Armando, George, Andy, Jesse, Connie Lopez, Becky Regalado, Margie Chavez, and Julie DeSantos. He is preceded in death by his son, Phillip, Jr.; brothers, Mike and Marin; and his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon (419-693-9304) on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5 - 8 p.m. where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
