Raymond Earl Mahorney

Raymond “Earl” Mahorney, age 61, of Oregon, Ohio, suddenly passed away on June 30, 2017.  He was born to Perry and Wanda Mahorney on January 18, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio. Earl proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve.  He was a loving husband to Pamela Mahorney for 32 years.

He was a dedicated, hardworking husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He was a self-employed professional painter.  Earl enjoyed partying with his family and friends, camping, fishing, traveling and loud music.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Carper) Mahorney; daughters, Janet Mahorney (Bryan Moore II), Teresa Mahorney, Rachel Mahorney and Amanda Mahorney (John Smolenski II); 12 grandchildren; his dog Buddy; many brothers; sisters; multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Wanda Mahorney and his brother, John “Porky” Mahorney.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017. The Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family.
